The Maryland Association of Area Agencies on Aging
The Maryland Association of Area Agencies on Aging (M4A), a non profit organization representing 19 Area Agencies and all jurisdictions, serves as a visible and effective advocate for older adults within the substate jurisdictions of Maryland, educating about aging issues in order to obtain an adequate and appropriate system of services in Maryland. Membership includes county and non-profit agencies, and encompasses rural, suburban, and urban aging programs.
The annual election of officers is held on the first Friday of June. M4A meets on the first Friday of August, October, December, February, April, and June. Meetings are held at different locations throughout the state.
