Annual Summer Conference

August 13-16, 2008 - "Promoting County Government Through Technology" - Roland Powell Convention Center, Ocean City, Worcester County - The conference draws 3,000 local, state and federal government official attendees and their families. More than 80 speakers from the public and private sectors are featured in more than 20 continuing education sessions especially geared towards county elected officials. A 278-booth Trade Show, featuring the best of commercial, state and county services and products is a conference highlight. The Governor of Maryland delivers the closing General Session on Saturday morning.

Annual Winter Conference

January 7-9, 2009 - This three-day event at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel in Dorchester County draws nearly 400 county and state elected and appointed officials and their families. Session topics focus on continuing education and reviewing issues that will be relevant during the upcoming Maryland General Assembly. The Technology Showcase features 29 tabletop exhibits, displaying the latest commercial technology products and services.

Administrators & Attorneys Annual Fall Conference

October 22-24, 2008 (Tentative date) - This two-day educational meeting in Annapolis provides networking and continuing education opportunities for county attorneys and their staff, county administrators and their staff.
