MACo OFFICE CLOSING

The MACo office in Annapolis will be CLOSED Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14. Deliveries to MACo for conference should be made no later than Monday, August 3. Please contact staff via email that week.

Annual Summer Conference

August 12-15, 2009 - Roland Powell Convention Center, Ocean City, Worcester County This conference draws 3,000 local, state and federal government official attendees and their families. More than 80 speakers from the public and private sectors are featured in more than 20 continuing education sessions especially geared towards county elected officials. A 284-booth Trade Show, featuring the best of commercial, state and county services and products is a conference highlight. The Governor of Maryland delivers the closing General Session on Saturday morning.

Annual Winter Conference

January 6-8, 2010 - Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel . . . This three-day educational event for local government officials will be held again in Dorchester County. The conference draws nearly 400 county and state elected and appointed officials and their families. Session topics focus on reviewing timely issues that will be relevant during the upcoming Maryland General Assembly. The Technology Showcase of Exhibits features 25 tabletop exhibits, displaying the latest in technology products and services. Registration, hotel and exhibits information will be available Fall 2009.
