Below is an archive of the various documents and websites relating to the Federal Recovery Act (ARRA) compiled by MACo staff.

June 29 . . .The Office of Management and Budget has issued Guidance Documents for use of Recovery monies by local governments.

June 3 . . . Access the MD Recovery Map to see details of newly awarded State Highway projects including area resurfacing contracts that were awarded May 25.

May 18 . . . Implementation Guidance - The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued on May 11 new guidance covering allowable administrative costs for counties under the Recovery Act. Click here to access "Guidance to Agencies on Payments to State Grantees for Administrative Costs of Recovery Act Activities". In addition, OMB has convened organizations representing state and local governments, including NACo, to discuss data and reporting requirements; new guidance on reporting is anticipated in June.

April 7 . . . Rural Development's ARRA Programs - Learn more.

April 3 . . . Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG) applications are due June 25. Find out who qualifies and read the FAQs and Summary.

March 12 . . . Review of Stimulus Funds - This review, published by the National Conference of State Legislatures contains a section entitled, "Resources on Components in the Stimulus Package" which is particularly helpful . . . There are Basic Eligibility Requirements for local project funding for the Transportation Phase II funding of the ARRA.

March 5 . . . State Website on Recovery Funding - Maryland is one of only a few states mirroring the White House website to demonstrate how citizens' dollars are being spent with Recovery funds. Also see:
