About the 2025 Conference

Counties interacted with government and non-government entities at every turn. Those relationships with external parties, such as the courts, state agencies, and community stakeholders, were vital to providing quality services to county residents. Within this context, these collaborations proved useful but also challenging at times, particularly around evolving or inherently complicated circumstances. Staying updated on legal trends, stakeholder perspectives, as well as the mutual and competing interests of those entities, helped county attorneys take a proactive approach to keeping local governments effective and protected. At the MACo County Attorneys Affiliate Conference, county attorneys gained updates and insights from some of those entities, and also spent time sharing thoughts and asking questions of peers and counterparts from across the state.

Opportunities

The Attorneys Conference is held in the fall. The content of this event centers around current issues facing county attorneys. Separate break-out meetings are held with general sessions bringing the attendees together to discuss common issues. This event is targeted to be of most interest to county attorneys, though other county staff and officials may attend if space permits.
